The real app

From two files to one smooth mix in a minute

Drawn from the real app: two songs on the timeline, the outgoing one fading under the incoming one along checkpoints you drag. No plugins, no installer.

Try it right here

Draw a crossfade, then press play

Two 20-second clips, mixed live in your browser. Drag the white checkpoints to reshape how the first fades out under the second. The waveform follows the curve, so what you see is what you hear. It works the same way in the app, on as many tracks as you like.

Drag a checkpoint, or focus it with Tab and use the arrow keys. Double-click a clip to add a point; Delete removes it.

Why MixSongs

A real multitrack mixer, not another “audio joiner”

Most free tools glue files end to end with a fixed fade. MixSongs gives you a timeline, where you decide exactly how every transition sounds.

How it works

Three steps to a finished mix

  1. 01

    Drop your songs

Drag MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG or AIFF files onto the page. MixSongs reads each file’s real quality: bitrate, sample rate and bit depth.

  2. 02

    Shape the transitions

Place songs at the start, at the cursor or in sequence. Draw volume checkpoints for crossfades, trim, split and loop until it flows.

  3. 03

    Export your mix

Pick a format. MixSongs recommends the best one for your sources, renders offline and downloads the file. It never touches a server.

AI stem separation

Need just the vocals? Split any song into 4 stems.

Mel-Band RoFormer isolates the vocals, then Demucs splits the rest into drums, bass and music, on a cloud GPU in about a minute. Make a karaoke track, an acapella, or a remix-ready set of stems inside the same project.

10 separations for $2.99, valid for 7 days. Includes Pro export. One-time, no subscription.

Questions, answered

Is MixSongs really free?

Yes. Mixing, editing and crossfades are free with no account and no watermark, and so is MP3 export up to 192 kbps. Lossless WAV/FLAC and MP3 320 (Pro export) come with any $2.99 pack, which also gives you 10 AI stem separations to use within 7 days.

Are my songs uploaded anywhere?

Not for mixing or exporting: decoding, playback and rendering all happen in your browser. Audio is uploaded only if you choose AI stem separation. It is deleted from our servers as soon as the stems reach your browser, and within one hour at the latest.

What file formats can I use?

You can import MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A/AAC, OGG/Opus, WebM audio and AIFF. Free export is MP3 at 128 or 192 kbps. Pro export adds WAV (16, 24 or 32-bit float), FLAC (16 or 24-bit) and MP3 at 256 or 320 kbps.

Does it work on my computer?

MixSongs works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. A desktop or laptop is recommended for precise editing.

Can I mix songs I don’t own?

You are responsible for having the rights to the audio you use. Mixing a song for your own private listening is treated differently from publishing it. Read our Terms and Copyright policy before sharing anything you made.
