Is MixSongs free?
Yes. The mixer, editor and export are free with no account, no watermark and no ads. Only AI stem separation is paid ($2.99 for 15 songs).
Do I need to install anything?
No. MixSongs runs in your browser. Open app.mixsongs.app and start.
Which browsers are supported?
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop. MixSongs needs the Web Audio API and FLAC decoding, which all modern browsers support. A laptop or desktop is recommended; phones work but editing is fiddly on a small screen.
Where are my projects saved?
In your browser’s local storage (IndexedDB), on your device only. They are not synced between devices or browsers. Clearing site data deletes them, so export finished mixes.
Is there a length limit?
Not for mixing; your computer’s memory is the practical limit. AI separation accepts songs up to 10 minutes and 60 MB.
Can I use MixSongs offline?
Once loaded, mixing and export keep working even if your connection drops. AI separation and sign-in need the internet.
Privacy and safety
Are my songs uploaded?
Not for mixing or exporting. Audio is uploaded only when you choose AI stem separation. It is processed on a cloud GPU and deleted after the stems reach your browser, always within one hour.
Do you use my audio to train AI?
No, never.
What do you collect if I sign in?
Your Google account’s name, email address and account ID, plus your credit balance and purchase records. See the Privacy Policy for the full list and your rights.
Are there cookies or trackers?
We set no cookies on this site and use no advertising or tracking pixels. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless. Our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie to block bots. The app sets an essential sign-in cookie only if you sign in. See the Cookie notice.
Credits and payments
How do credits work?
One credit separates one song into four stems. A pack has 15 credits and costs $2.99. Credits do not expire while the service operates.
What if a separation fails?
The credit is returned to your balance automatically.
Who processes payments?
Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record. Your receipt comes from Paddle, and Paddle handles taxes and payment security.
How do refunds work?
Unused packs can be refunded within 14 days. Contact [email protected] or reply to your Paddle receipt. See the Refund Policy.
Copyright
Can I mix or separate any song?
Only use audio you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for your content and for how you use the results. MixSongs is a tool; it does not license music to you.
Can I publish a mashup I made?
Publishing a mix of songs you don’t own usually needs permission from the rights holders. Personal use and publishing are different things. When in doubt, ask the rights holder or a lawyer.
How do I report infringement?
MixSongs does not host or share user audio, but if you believe something on our site infringes your rights, send a notice as described in our Copyright & DMCA policy to [email protected].
